This is an expedition that took place in the winter of 2006 from Smolensk to Cape Schmidt in a Gaz 66 truck. The team was Russian, German and Dutch so the text is multi-lingual. The photos are a great insight into travel in the far north east of Russia. The people who earn their livelihood trucking supplies over huge distances in these conditions earn enormous respect. - you can see why !
